Senior Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and improve native Android applications for essential business processes.

• Design and develop mobile architecture and coding practices.

• Integrate applications with backend APIs and services, including BFFs and API Gateway.

• Maintain performance, stability, security, and code quality.

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues, including production incidents.

• Lead refactoring efforts focused on scalability and long-term sustainability.

• Actively engage in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.

• Collaborate closely with backend, product, design, and QA teams.

• Function in high-volume settings and on mission-critical applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in native Android development using Kotlin.

• Proficient in the Android SDK and Android Studio.

• In-depth understanding of mobile architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).

• Experience with consuming and integrating REST APIs, including API Gateway and BFF.

• Strong grasp of the Android application lifecycle.

• Knowledge of memory management and performance enhancement.

• Familiarity with local persistence solutions (Room, SQLite, or similar).

• Proficient in SQL and basic data modeling concepts.

• Experience with version control using Git in collaborative settings (PRs, code reviews).

• Skills in error handling, fallbacks, and client-side resilience strategies.

• Adherence to best practices for code quality, organization, and modularity.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

• Demonstrated technical independence in task and solution delivery.

• Logical thinking and systems-oriented mindset.
