Senior Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.

📋 Description

• Design and develop new features for our Android application, utilized daily by business owners throughout Europe.

• Architect and implement dependable, user-friendly solutions for:

• Multi-account cash flow management

• Banking transactions and payments

• Issuance, activation, and control of physical and virtual cards

• AI-driven accounting automation

• Create polished, responsive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.

• Assume responsibility for code quality, performance, and stability — automated testing and comprehensive code reviews are essential.

• Collaborate closely with Backend, QA, Design, and Product teams — you will be shaping solutions from end to end, not merely implementing specifications.

• Influence technical decisions within your area, challenge assumptions when necessary, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tools, and mobile best practices across the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (knowledge of Java is a bonus)

• Comprehensive understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture

• Significant experience with presentation layer patterns — MVI, MVVM, and MVP — along with the ability to select the appropriate one for the context

• Hands-on experience with our core technologies: Reactive programming & asynchronous techniques: RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines / Flow

• Dependency injection frameworks: Dagger 2, Hilt, or Koin

• Networking tools: Retrofit

• Navigation frameworks: Cicerone, Jetpack Navigation Component

• Modern UI development: Jetpack Compose

• Practical experience with Firebase (FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics)

• Experience with feature-module architecture in production environments

• Proficiency with Git / GitLab, including setting up and managing GitLab CI/CD

• Clear and concise communication skills in English, suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
