Senior Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Create and develop new functionalities for our Android application.

• Design and implement dependable, user-friendly solutions.

• Construct sleek, responsive user interfaces utilizing Jetpack Compose.

• Take responsibility for code quality, performance, and overall stability.

• Collaborate closely with Backend, QA, Design, and Product teams.

• Influence technical decisions within your area of expertise.

• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development, tooling, and mobile best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (knowledge of Java is an advantage).

• Over 5 years of professional Android development experience.

• In-depth understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture.

• Extensive experience with presentation layer patterns such as MVI, MVVM, and MVP.

• Practical knowledge of core stack technologies: Reactive programming & async tools like RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines / Flow.

• Experience with dependency injection frameworks: Dagger 2, Hilt, or Koin.

• Familiarity with networking tools: Retrofit.

• Knowledge of navigation frameworks: Cicerone, Jetpack Navigation Component.

• Experience with modern UI development using Jetpack Compose.

• Practical experience with Firebase services (FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics).

• Proficient with Git / GitLab, including the setup and maintenance of GitLab CI/CD.

• A builder's mindset — a commitment to the product, users, and outcomes beyond just writing code.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English to both technical and non-technical audiences.
