Senior Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Create and develop new functionalities for our Android application, utilized daily by business owners throughout Europe.

• Design and execute dependable, user-friendly solutions for managing multi-account cash flow, banking operations, payments, as well as physical and virtual card issuance, activation, and control, along with AI-driven accounting automation.

• Construct polished, responsive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.

• Assume responsibility for code quality, performance, and stability — automated testing and comprehensive code reviews are essential.

• Work closely with Backend, QA, Design, and Product teams — you will be involved in shaping solutions from start to finish, rather than merely executing specifications.

• Influence technical decisions within your area, question assumptions when necessary, and proactively seek opportunities to enhance our offerings.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices across the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Kotlin (knowledge of Java is an advantage) and over 5 years of professional Android development experience.

• Profound understanding of OOP, SOLID, and Clean Architecture.

• Significant experience with presentation layer patterns — MVI, MVVM, and MVP.

• Practical experience with our core technology stack:

• - Reactive programming & async: RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines / Flow

• - Dependency injection: Dagger 2, Hilt, or Koin

• - Networking: Retrofit

• - Navigation: Cicerone, Jetpack Navigation Component

• - Modern UI: Jetpack Compose

• Hands-on experience with Firebase (FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics).

• Experience with Feature-module architecture in a production setting.

• Proficiency with Git / GitLab, including setting up and maintaining GitLab CI/CD.

• A builder's mindset — you prioritize the product, the users, and the outcomes, beyond just the code.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English with both technical and non-technical audiences.
