This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee the entire software development life cycle, including the design, coding, testing, and maintenance of intricate Android applications.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to aid in technical design, enhance development standards, and ensure high code quality.
• Take ownership of feature development from initial requirements to final delivery, focusing on performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and analysts to create technical designs for feature sets.
• Guide developers, advocate for best practices, and maintain high standards for code quality.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to achieve 100% code review coverage.
• Develop unit and functional tests, and support QA in reviewing, creating, and executing functional automation tests.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Android development.
• In-depth knowledge of native Android development using Java and Kotlin.
• Strong grasp of MVVM and contemporary Android architecture patterns.
• Practical experience with widely-used Android libraries and integrations.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices, including build obfuscation and encryption techniques.
• Experience with encryption frameworks and utilities, such as HTTPS, TLS, SHA-256, and Cipher Block Chaining.
• Exceptional communication skills for documentation, planning, and teamwork.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Resourceful, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
• Preferred: Experience with integrating third-party devices (e.g., watches, payment terminals).
• Preferred: Knowledge of client-server full-stack architecture.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Pub/Sub and Producer/Consumer messaging patterns.
