Senior Analytics & Reporting Consultant – Federal Employee Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Responsible for generating business insights and analytics to support HCSC's Federal Employee Program (FEP).

• Offers high-level consultation to users while guiding cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to the FEP.

• Designs and generates datasets and reports for analysis utilizing system reporting tools.

• Conducts research and analyzes data pertinent to the division's strategic initiatives and broader research requirements.

• Serves as a liaison between the business and divisional data teams to create and develop tools that facilitate actionable analysis and reporting within the business context.

• Collaborates closely with customers to cultivate strategic relationships.

• Continuously enhances understanding of the division's data to fulfill business requirements.

• Evaluates complex business challenges and issues by leveraging data from both internal and external sources to deliver strategic business insights to decision-makers.

• Recognizes and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to identify influences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in data analysis and information reporting, or 7 years of experience in data analysis and information reporting.

• 4 years of project management experience.

• Proficient in SQL, SAS, Teradata, or other reporting tools/languages.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively, both in writing and verbally.

• Demonstrates initiative in solving complex problems; adopts an "outside-in" approach to identify innovative solutions.

• May lead functional teams or projects, or make decisions to support reporting and insights for business needs.

• Experience working with both internal and external data.

• Ensures the accuracy of reports and provides valuable insights.

• Capable of working independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations.
