Senior Analyst, Technical Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Implement security technology solutions that are customized to meet organizational security needs.

• Configure and uphold physical security software, applications, and tools.

• Contribute to the architecture and engineering aspects of physical security applications.

• Create implementation plans that encompass hardware, software, configuration parameters, and testing strategies.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to physical security applications and servers.

• Assist in the integration of infrastructure with physical security solutions.

• Address security incidents, troubleshoot technical challenges, and identify root causes.

• Offer technical support and guidance to staff and end-users.

• Manage physical security device inventory, lifecycle, and configuration standards.

• Oversee the Physical Security Break/Fix Program, which includes issue tracking, prioritization, and documentation of processes.

• Support physical security system administration projects from start to finish.

• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and IT teams.

• Coordinate the physical security technology aspects of both internal and external audits.

• Assess physical security threats, technological trends, and technical controls.

• Prepare reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.

• Convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires over four years of relevant experience.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, Business Administration, or Risk Management.

• Comcast may consider candidates with a mix of coursework and experience or significant related professional experience.

• Experience in administering enterprise physical security platforms like Genetec Security Center, Honeywell Pro-Watch, AMAG Symmetry, LenelS2 OnGuard, WinPak, or similar systems.

• Experience in managing enterprise video management systems such as Genetec, Milestone, or Avigilon.

• Proficient in managing physical security hardware platforms, including Mercury controllers, AMAG, Axis, Hanwha, Bosch, HID, or DMP.

• Experience with large-scale deployments of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, SDKs, or integration frameworks.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.

• Knowledge of Wiegand, OSDP, credential bit formats, mobile credentials, SEOS, and DESFire.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL queries and understanding database structures.

• Familiar with video analytics platforms like KiwiVision, BriefCam, or Avigilon Appearance Search.

• Comprehensive understanding of IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, and network segmentation.

• Practical experience in supporting enterprise Windows Server environments.

• Experience troubleshooting system outages, device failures, and software/application issues.

• Background in supporting large-scale physical security infrastructure deployments.

• Strong documentation skills, including the creation of architecture diagrams, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.

• Familiarity with camera analytics tuning and event detection configuration.

• Experience in integrating physical security systems with Azure AD/Entra.

• Must participate in an on-call schedule and be available to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as needed.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% is required.
