Senior Analyst, Technical Internal Control

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the yearly refresh process for the IT narrative, which includes managing requests, sending reminders, tracking completions, and following up with control owners.

• Maintain and regularly update the inventory of in-scope IT systems, applications, and associated assets that support ICOFR and SOC 1 IT control scope.

• Assist in the onboarding of new IT controls by creating control onboarding templates and preparing necessary documentation, including AI testing enablement.

• Populate and keep up-to-date testing templates, evidence request materials, and related documentation for internal testing cycles.

• Evaluate narratives, inventories, and control documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal documentation standards.

• Provide support with BlackLine task administration and user assistance.

• Develop trackers, status updates, and reports to give management visibility into refresh processes, inventory updates, onboarding efforts, and testing readiness.

• Collaborate with control owners, testers, and management to address documentation gaps and follow up on outstanding issues.

• Support internal control testing and issue follow-up as required.

• Carry out related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Four or more years of experience in internal controls, audit support, compliance, IT operations support, or a related field is preferred.

• Preferred working knowledge of ICOFR, SOC 1, and IT general controls concepts.

• Familiarity with BlackLine, Microsoft Excel, and documentation or workflow management tools is preferred.

• Strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage recurring deadlines and follow-up tasks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with control owners and internal stakeholders.

• Experience with AI-enabled testing is a plus.

• CISA certification or progress towards certification is advantageous.

• Access to reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection for remote or hybrid work.
