Senior Analyst, Risk Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Acquire exposure to essential domains including risk underwriting, pricing, and direct mail marketing, with the chance to specialize in a particular area based on personal interest and business requirements.

• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to design and execute tests; transform insights into actionable strategies and present findings to stakeholders to influence decision-making.

• Create and sustain valuation frameworks to assess profitability at the margin; suggest modifications to risk strategies to enhance profitability while ensuring necessary return on capital across all risk segments.

• Develop dynamic risk assessment frameworks utilizing alternative data to gauge creditworthiness and optimize direct mail marketing and targeting efforts.

• Formulate strategy ramp-ups to facilitate expansion into new channels, geographic regions, and/or partner sources while guaranteeing portfolio resilience.

• Assist in the development of pricing strategies and practices, balancing revenue optimization with enterprise objectives and customer experience.

• Monitor portfolio performance, refining strategies to reduce defaults while maximizing credit access for underserved populations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or another analytical field (an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is advantageous).

• Over 3 years of experience in an analytical position, preferably within risk management in the financial services sector.

• Exceptional attention to detail, with experience in developing processes to implement strategies.

• A self-motivated individual who naturally takes ownership, seeks opportunities, and drives recommendations through to execution.

• Adaptable to a rapidly changing environment with a strong drive to accomplish tasks.

• Capable of flexibly prioritizing work, managing multiple assignments, and meeting deadlines.

• Proficient in SQL (or a similar programming language); knowledge of Python is a plus.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
