
Senior Analyst, Consignments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the complete consignment accounting process, encompassing revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and vendor settlements, while ensuring adherence to GAAP/IFRS and corporate policies.
• Assess consignment inventory performance, variances, and margin trends, providing actionable insights to Finance and Merchandising leadership.
• Facilitate month-end closing activities for consignment accounts, guaranteeing timely and precise journal entries and reconciliations (KPIs: close cycle days, reconciliation accuracy).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Vendor Management teams to ensure consistency on inventory flows, contract terms, and financial implications.
• Develop and sustain comprehensive financial models to monitor consignment profitability, inventory turnover, and vendor performance (KPIs: inventory turnover, gross margin %).
• Assess and enhance internal controls related to consignment processes, mitigating risks and ensuring readiness for audits (KPIs: audit findings, control effectiveness).
• Design reporting dashboards and executive summaries that convert intricate financial data into straightforward business insights for decision-makers.
• Enhance systems and processes by pinpointing automation opportunities and executing scalable solutions within ERP and reporting tools.
• Assist in external and internal audits by preparing documentation, addressing inquiries, and ensuring complete transparency of consignment accounting practices.
• Guide junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous improvement and financial excellence within the corporate finance team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 4–6+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, accounting, or retail finance.
• Strong familiarity with inventory accounting and revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
