This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Commission Manager in overseeing the annual compensation setting process, including resetting quotas, plans, and configuring CaptivateIQ as necessary.
• Calculate and prepare monthly commission payouts for the entire Company, encompassing bonuses and one-time incentive payments.
• Maintain the commission plan database within CIQ to ensure data integrity and act as the primary contact for all end-user technical (CIQ) and commission-related inquiries.
• Distribute and monitor the completion of compensation plan sign-offs from sales employees to ensure adherence to company policies.
• Document approvals and other supporting materials for any adjustments that may lead to changes in pay and assist in the formulation of policies and procedures regarding these adjustments.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Revenue Operations and HR Operations to establish best practices and enhance processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the sales commissions process.
• Investigate compensation issues and disputes, providing analysis to assist in resolution.
• Prepare monthly accruals and reconciliations for commission accounting, supporting payroll in the timely and precise preparation of commission payouts.
• Over 5 years of experience in sales compensation, with a robust understanding of the sales function within a SaaS company.
• Proficient in reporting, analytics, and the calculation of sales incentive and commission payments.
• Familiarity with incentive plan structures, including bookings and revenue-based incentive plans, quotas, and accelerators.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to clearly articulate commission concepts, terminology, and calculations.
• Proficiency in Excel for analyzing large datasets (e.g., basic formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with other BI tools such as Looker or Tableau.
• Experience with CaptivateIQ (CIQ), Looker, and Salesforce is advantageous.
• Knowledge of US GAAP is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the capability to ensure data management accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving and process improvement abilities.
• Develop and maintain documentation of procedures to ensure consistency in calculations, audits, and all financial processes.
• Ability to adapt to a high volume of changes.
• Capacity to work with ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality of work.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business and/or commerce.
