Senior AI/ML Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop the platforms, infrastructure, and services essential for delivering machine learning and generative AI-driven products.

• Take charge of projects and lead initiatives across various teams.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to fellow team members.

• Engage in the construction of machine learning and generative AI platforms.

• Build backend infrastructure to support scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions.

• Create services that provide access to machine learning and AI-driven products.

• Deploy and oversee applications in a production environment.

• Write code on a daily basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in delivering production-ready products.

• Proficient in writing high-quality code using Python.

• Familiarity with modern async Python web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI) and managing data streaming (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events).

• Experience with Docker and deploying applications on Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of relational and low-latency databases.

• Proven experience in building RAG-based AI solutions.

• Competence in setting up and maintaining vector databases.

• Understanding of LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) and integrating with foundation model APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock).

• Eagerness to quickly learn new technologies.

• Passion for building systems from the ground up.

• A considered approach to balancing quality and deadlines in dynamic environments.

• Excellent communication skills, with a knack for fostering consensus and alignment.

• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to break down complex challenges into clear priorities that advance the team and business.
