Senior AI/LLM Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Quickly prototype and implement AI-driven features to enhance search capabilities, improve recommendations, and automate workflows across the Censys Platform.

• Utilize machine learning to optimize workflows, personalize user experiences, and uncover critical insights.

• Develop and refine LLMs and RAG pipelines to analyze Internet-scale data, summarize findings, and provide contextually relevant insights.

• Construct, scale, and maintain AI-based analytics and automation systems that assist users in making quicker, data-informed decisions.

• Collaborate with frontend, product, and data engineering teams to integrate AI-native experiences that are seamless, intuitive, and secure.

• Consistently assess and enhance model performance using RAGAS, LangSmith, and automated regression testing frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience, including a minimum of 2 years dedicated to building and scaling AI-enhanced user-facing features.

• Strong expertise in Python for backend and API services development.

• Familiarity with RAG evaluation frameworks (e.g., RAGAS, LangSmith) and the design of regression testing for LLM pipelines.

• Capacity to rapidly prototype, validate, and enhance AI features in a dynamic, experiment-focused environment.

• Prior experience in prompt engineering to improve LLM accuracy, reasoning, and consistency.

• Understanding of secure and responsible AI practices, implementing safeguards and safety measures to prevent misuse or data leakage.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and deployment best practices for AI applications.

• Strong ability to collaborate across teams to ensure AI capabilities enhance the overall user experience on the Platform.
