Senior AI Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Develop and refine prototypes, internal tools, and engineering solutions.

• Utilize AI technologies (such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to enhance coding, debugging, testing, and documentation processes.

• Play a role in advancing CI/CD practices, automating testing, and improving code quality initiatives.

• Assist in optimizing software development lifecycle (SDLC) workflows through the application of AI.

• Collaborate closely with both internal and client technical leads, offering insights and technical guidance.

• Thrive in a dynamic and uncertain environment where a fully defined backlog may not exist.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6+ years of practical experience in software engineering.

• Proficient coding and problem-solving abilities.

• Daily, practical engagement with AI coding tools (more than just experimental familiarity).

• Capacity to clearly explain how AI tools enhance development workflows (including coding, debugging, testing, refactoring, etc.).

• Experience with internal tools, developer productivity, or engineering processes is a significant advantage.

• Comfortable operating in unstructured or research and development environments.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior technical stakeholders.
