Senior AI Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver applied AI solutions from problem identification to production deployment.

• Take ownership of one or more high-impact initiatives each quarter, with defined KPI hypotheses and accountability for delivery.

• Guide junior scientists and shape technical standards within the scope of your initiatives.

• Discover high-impact AI opportunities by leveraging business context, data diagnostics, and technical feasibility.

• Develop practical AI/ML solutions while clearly outlining trade-offs related to accuracy, latency, cost, and reliability.

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, analytics, and operations teams to ensure alignment on scope, sequencing, and accountability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in applied data science/ML with a track record of successful production delivery.

• Extensive knowledge of current LLM and agent technologies.

• Proven ability to implement complex models and model-adjacent systems into production.

• Significant daily engagement with AI-native engineering workflows (coding, design/framing, debugging, and code review) for at least the last 18 months.

• Proficient implementation experience across at least two technical ecosystems/cloud platforms (e.g., AWS and GCP).

• Strong quantitative skills in experimentation, statistical reasoning, and model evaluation.

• Excellent collaboration abilities; capable of driving alignment and decision-making amidst ambiguity.
