Senior AI / ML Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, and develop AI/ML solutions to address innovative business challenges.

• Implement both traditional machine learning models and contemporary AI techniques, such as LLMs, generative AI, RAG, and agentic AI systems.

• Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

• Construct robust, scalable, and maintainable AI systems.

• Develop and implement rigorous frameworks for model evaluation.

• Transition AI prototypes into systems ready for production.

• Contribute to processes involving documentation, governance, and compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field AND 5-8 years of relevant job experience OR a High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of equivalent job experience.

• Proficient in AI programming languages (e.g., Python).

• Hands-on experience with ML libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, AWS Bedrock, and Azure AI Foundry.

• Strong software engineering capabilities (testing, code quality, modular design, performance awareness).

• Experience in building end-to-end ML pipelines (data preparation, training, evaluation, and deployment integration).

• Familiarity with designing, training, and tuning deep neural networks.

• Understanding of model architecture, training dynamics, and evaluation techniques.

• Exposure to autonomous and/or multi-agent systems, including basic agent orchestration and tool utilization.

• Knowledge of reliability, safety, and evaluation considerations for agent-based systems.

• Familiarity with deploying or supporting AI solutions on cloud platforms.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field is an advantage.

• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, with an understanding of compliance and governance requirements.

• Professional proficiency in English is required.
