Senior AI Engineer – LLM, Agentic Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for the reusable accelerator core and multi-agent workflows.

• Develop and sustain evaluation pipelines and telemetry to quantify quality.

• Guarantee reliability, cost efficiency, and observability for agentic systems.

• Partner with delivery teams to establish trust in the outcomes of non-deterministic systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience as an AI Engineer or in a comparable position.

• Proficient software engineering skills in production environments: Python, testing, packaging, CI/CD, async, REST, Docker.

• Significant expertise in LLM application engineering: prompt design, function calling, structured outputs, RAG, vector stores, utilizing the Anthropic and OpenAI APIs.

• Evaluation-driven development as a fundamental practice.

• Practical experience in building agentic systems from start to finish.

• Knowledge of the orchestration landscape (LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI).

• Proficient in at least one cloud data platform and SQL.
