AI/LLM Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of intelligent, scalable applications.

• Design and develop applications based on LLM technology, such as chatbots, copilots, and autonomous agents.

• Integrate and manage model APIs from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and others.

• Architect retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.

• Handle memory, context, and embeddings effectively.

• Implement safety measures and validate responses.

• Optimize latency and manage token costs efficiently.

• Establish monitoring and observability for LLM systems operating in production.

• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to pinpoint and address bottlenecks.

• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in large language models (LLMs).

• Experience or proficiency in backend development using Python or Node.js.

• Familiarity with REST APIs.

• Understanding of microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of Docker technology.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Experience with LangChain or similar frameworks.

• Familiarity with vector databases like Chroma, OpenSearch, etc.

• Understanding of AI security issues such as prompt injection and context control.

• Knowledge of logging, tracing, and observability practices.

• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

• Organized and detail-oriented mindset.

• Focus on scalability.

• Ability to think systemically.

• Strong communication skills with technical and analytical teams.

• Proactive in identifying bottlenecks.
