Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement AI-driven applications and intelligent services.

• Construct and refine solutions utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Create Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and AI workflows.

• Design and execute AI agents and orchestration frameworks.

• Develop backend services and REST APIs that support AI applications.

• Integrate AI functionalities into enterprise software solutions.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to define and deliver AI use cases.

• Enhance the performance, scalability, and dependability of AI solutions.

• Contribute to the technical architecture, documentation, and engineering best practices.

• Remain current with emerging AI technologies and industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development.

• Proficient programming skills in Python.

• Experience in developing AI applications that utilize Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Practical experience in constructing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.

• Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or PydanticAI.

• Experience with AI platforms like OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or similar.

• Background in developing backend applications using FastAPI or Django.

• Experience in designing and developing REST APIs.

• Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with AI observability tools like LangSmith or Arize Phoenix.

• Experience with prompt engineering and LLM evaluation.

• Background in building AI copilots or intelligent assistants.
