Senior AI Enablement Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Enablement and coaching — collaborate directly with engineers through one-on-one sessions, pair programming, workshops, office hours, and cohort training to enhance their effectiveness in AI-assisted development: including prompting, workflow design, and model/tool selection. Identify areas of under-adoption and elevate teams to meet the standard.

• Best-practice dissemination — document successful strategies (and failures) from one team and systematically share them: creating living best-practice guides, prompt libraries, troubleshooting playbooks, and an internal repository for AI knowledge and skills.

• Scaling through champions — establish and support a network of embedded AI champions to ensure enablement extends beyond a single individual.

• Unblocking and feedback loop — serve as the primary resource when engineers encounter difficulties with AI tools. Proactively engage with teams to identify blockers early, consolidate them into patterns, and escalate systemic challenges to leadership.

• Internal integrations and tooling — develop internal AI integrations and reusable tools hands-on (Node.js/TypeScript, MCP) — from prototype to production independently, ensuring compliance with authentication, access control, security review, and CI/CD.

• Evaluation and scouting — conduct structured assessments of AI tools, models, and internal integrations; keep abreast of the rapidly evolving landscape (such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot/Codex, and new model releases) and provide curated, actionable recommendations.

• Measurement and impact — establish and monitor adoption and productivity metrics by team, tool, and individual. Create dashboards reflecting real usage and output — such as adoption/active usage rates, assistant acceptance rates, pull request throughput, and cycle time — with quality safeguards (change failure rate) to ensure that speed does not compromise quality. Reference frameworks include DX Core 4 and DORA.

• Cross-functional collaboration — partner with security/compliance to implement safe-by-design guardrails, and collaborate with GTM to translate field requirements into internal enablement, while also feeding back patterns of adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior, hands-on engineer with a robust full-stack background — at least 7 years of experience delivering in a product-driven environment.

• Expertise in Node.js/TypeScript for developing services and integrations, along with a solid understanding of relational and document databases.

• Profound, hands-on knowledge of agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) — understanding their internal workings, not just their usage — along with the complete AI-assisted development workflow.

• Proven experience in taking internal integrations from prototype to production independently — covering design, authentication/authorization, deployment, security review, and CI/CD.

• Familiarity with building integrations against third-party APIs and agent-tooling protocols (e.g., MCP).

• Working knowledge of GenAI foundational elements: LLMs, prompting, RAG, orchestration, agentic flows, and AI/tooling security.

• Exceptional teaching, facilitation, and technical writing abilities — capable of explaining complex subjects to engineers of varying skill levels and producing guides, workshops, and walkthroughs.

• Cross-functional operating proficiency — comfortable influencing without authority and coordinating with IT, DevOps, security, and GTM teams.

• Ability to autonomously structure ambiguous, open-ended problems and drive them to resolution, distilling various inputs (such as one-on-ones, feedback, and surveys) into prioritized actions.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level, adequate for written and verbal technical communication with both external and internal audiences.
