📋 Description

• Oversee the administration and analysis of agency compensation programs by gathering, validating, and reporting compensation data while ensuring accurate record-keeping and managing program execution.

• Assess reports and dashboards, investigate data inconsistencies, and guarantee adherence to company policies and legal regulations.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to support compensation efforts, improve process efficiency, and provide timely, precise information to stakeholders.

• Direct the compensation team in strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing program effectiveness and fostering ongoing improvement.

• Act as the subject matter expert.

• Gather, audit, validate, and maintain agency compensation data from both internal and external sources.

• Investigate discrepancies in compensation records.

• Analyze reports concerning agency compensation, performance indicators, and payout calculations for business stakeholders.

• Manage the upkeep and documentation of compensation models, agreements, and associated materials.

• Spearhead the launch and management of new or revised compensation programs, including system configuration and testing.

• Collaborate with agency partners and internal business teams regarding compensation-related inquiries; lead the resolution of assigned issues.

• Relay technical system or cross-team impacting issues and proposed solutions to leadership.

• Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor compensation usage, accuracy, and program adoption.

• Lead and collaborate with internal teams to define and document business requirements.

• Engage in process improvement initiatives and work with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of compensation programs.

• Ensure compliance of all agency compensation programs and agreements with state and federal regulations.

• Partner with Legal and Compliance to address regulatory changes and mitigate risks.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to agency compensation policies, procedures, and compliance protocols to ensure transparency and readiness for audits.

• Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance compensation programs, tools, and communication strategies.

• Participate in industry workshops, webinars, and conferences focusing on agency compensation trends and regulatory updates.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Five years of experience in compensation analysis, including two years of agency compensation experience.

• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

• Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry.

• Understanding of the property and casualty insurance sector and independent agency operations.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively in teams.

• Preferred ability to read and interpret agency-company contracts and compensation agreements.

• Familiarity with reporting or visualization tools is preferred.

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on spreadsheets and data management tools.
