Senior Actuarial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Process, manipulate, and organize data for the Actuarial Reserving and Pricing teams utilizing SAS and SQL.

• Develop and sustain reports and dashboards with SAS, SQL, Excel, and R Shiny.

• Assist in special data analysis projects for senior leadership.

• Detect data issues and collaborate with IT to rectify defects.

• Enhance existing data processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Deliver data and insights to all actuarial functions within the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Intermediate experience in data management and reporting.

• Proficient in SAS (Entry to Intermediate level), SQL (Intermediate), and Excel (Intermediate).

• Intermediate programming skills, with R and Python knowledge considered a plus.

• Basic understanding of actuarial reserving concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capacity to work independently and manage projects effectively.

• Effective communication skills for collaboration with IT and actuarial teams.

• An insurance background in reserving data is advantageous.
