Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in a rapidly expanding, high-volume finance setting.

• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, manage transactions, supervise vendors, conduct reconciliations, and coordinate across various accounting and procurement systems.

• Serve as the main administrator for Ramp.

• Connect daily transaction processing with month-end general ledger accuracy across key systems (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Coupa).

• Spearhead internal training and policy implementation.

• Function as an active communicator, guiding employees through expense policies.

• Conduct regular spend audits.

• Locate missing receipts to maintain accurate financial records.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in high-volume accounts payable and expense management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

• Practical experience with Coupa and Sage Intacct (familiarity with NetSuite is a significant advantage).

• Strong grasp of accounts payable processes, invoice workflows, vendor management, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.

• Demonstrated capability to handle large transaction volumes while ensuring meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience operating across multiple systems in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments.

• Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across different functions.

• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.

• Preferred: 5+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience in high-volume, fast-paced settings.

• Preferred: Hands-on experience with accounts payable automation and ERP systems such as Ramp, NetSuite, Coupa, Sage Intacct, SAP, or similar platforms.

• Preferred: Strong knowledge of invoice processing, 2-way and 3-way matching, purchase orders, vendor management, expense reporting, and payment processing.

• Preferred: Experience in processing high transaction volumes with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
