Self-Employed Interpreter – Japanese–English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deliver telephone interpreting services to clients in various sectors, including public administration, healthcare, insurance firms, and financial institutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional interpreting experience along with one of the following qualifications:

• A university degree in interpreting or translation

• A university degree in philology, linguistics, or a related discipline

• Certified interpreter and/or recognized/certified translator

• For native speakers: proficiency in the German language at C1 level or above, along with a degree from a German university that reflects robust German-language studies (e.g., BA/MA in German Studies, German as a Foreign Language (DaF), etc.)
