Security Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Analyzing threats and vulnerabilities impacting Android and iOS mobile platforms

• Performing comprehensive, low-level investigations of malware, devices, and operating systems

• Producing research materials such as blogs, conference presentations, and technical papers

• Researching and advancing next-generation mobile threat protection technologies

• Collaborating with researchers and engineers to enhance McAfee’s top-tier security solutions for clients

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in security research

• Practical knowledge of Android or iOS, and/or Linux operating systems

• Skilled in Android or iOS debugging techniques, including the detection of malicious code

• Conducting assembly-level analysis

• Expected to debug and reverse-engineer Java bytecode, Dalvik, and ELF formats

• Familiar with tools such as IDA Pro, JEB, or other similar disassemblers

• Strong understanding of networking protocols and cloud technologies like AWS

• Knowledge of secure engineering practices

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language
