Security Engineer – Product & Production Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Oversee threat modeling and security review initiatives across Wiz’s production and CI/CD environments, focusing on identifying and mitigating risks associated with our products and the cloud services that support them.

• Spearhead vulnerability management and remediation activities—prioritizing concerns, implementing mitigations, and designing strategic preventative measures.

• Enhance our detection and response capabilities by developing scalable solutions to recognize malicious activity, manage alerts, and investigate and resolve incidents.

• Cultivate strong functional partnerships with Wiz’s engineering and operations teams, assisting them in delivering secure-by-design solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in security engineering or security operations within cloud environments, with a focus on a combination of the following:

• AWS platforms and services (equivalent experience in Azure and GCP will also be considered)

• Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and container infrastructure

• IAM and managing cloud identities at scale

• Secure development and application of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) solutions (Terraform, Helm)

• Cloud-native observability and management tools

• Development expertise in Go, Python, and Rust.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or candidates with equivalent job experience in lieu of a degree.

• Experience collaborating with remote, globally distributed teams.

• Background in organizations that develop software and/or operate managed infrastructure and technology services for their customers.

• Familiarity with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions.
