Security Engineer, Cloud

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable security measures throughout our cloud-native platform.

• Strengthen infrastructure elements utilizing infrastructure-as-code, policy enforcement, and service isolation techniques.

• Develop infrastructure and code CI/CD pipelines that prioritize security from the outset.

• Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to embed security best practices into both architecture and workflows.

• Keep abreast of cloud security developments and embrace innovative technologies to bolster platform resilience.

• Perform threat modeling, risk analysis, and mitigation planning for vital systems.

• Lead enhancements in monitoring, detection, and incident response at the platform level.

• Create, deploy, and sustain relevant tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in infrastructure or platform security positions.

• Profound knowledge of secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), identity and access management, and system hardening practices.

• Expertise in tools such as Terraform, CDK, Kubernetes, and CI/CD security.

• Adept at balancing practical engineering constraints with principled security methodologies.

• Demonstrated history of delivering secure, resilient systems at scale.
