Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain security measures integrated within the SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments, ensuring that security is prioritized throughout development and operations.

• Work in close collaboration with Engineering and DevOps teams to protect cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and containerized applications.

• Establish and uphold security configurations in AWS and GCP (e.g., IAM, WAF, GuardDuty, Security Groups), consistently enhancing the cloud security posture.

• Automate security processes and controls through scripting and infrastructure as code to boost efficiency and scalability.

• Ensure that DevSecOps practices comply with frameworks such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001/27701, and SOC 2, facilitating audits and internal security evaluations.

• Investigate and assess new technologies and architectures (e.g., enhancements in Kubernetes, AI integrations) to ensure secure implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of practical experience in DevSecOps, security engineering, or related technical security positions.

• Extensive experience in integrating security measures into CI/CD pipelines and development processes.

• Strong understanding of AWS and GCP along with their security services (e.g., IAM, WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Security Groups).

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Practical experience utilizing infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Proficient in programming or scripting languages such as Python and/or Golang.

• Real-world experience applying compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001/27701, SOC 2) in cloud and CI/CD settings.

• Strong analytical skills and the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English.
