This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Conducting initial assessments of various security signals and events to ascertain severity levels and initiate responses to incidents that may impact business operations.
• Overseeing and evaluating vulnerability management tools and feeds; offering remediation advice to relevant teams; and managing technical risk effectively.
• Administering the security awareness program, which includes designing courses, running phishing simulations, generating reports, and providing support to business teams and users.
• Assisting both internal and external stakeholders as needed to collect information and evidence for security governance initiatives and compliance audits.
• Leveraging AI and automation strategies to improve compliance, streamline business operations, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Executing small projects aimed at risk mitigation, team support, and alignment with broader company goals.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline, combined with one to three years of experience in information security; or equivalent work experience totaling 4–6 years.
• A strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms (such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Microsoft 365).
• Familiarity with business AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, Atlassian Rovo, or Anthropic Claude.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, vulnerability scanners, and security assessment instruments.
• Exposure to the development of SaaS applications and/or contemporary software engineering methodologies.
• Experience working in a professional IT setting that supports a remote workforce utilizing predominantly SaaS-based business tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to work autonomously.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.
