This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

• Design, implement, and manage firewall solutions across multi-tenant MDR client environments.

• Establish and maintain security policies, access controls, NAT, and segmentation strategies.

• Facilitate real-time threat detection and response by optimizing firewall rules in line with SOC alerts and threat intelligence.

• Collaborate with SOC teams to investigate and mitigate active incidents (e.g., blocking malicious IPs, isolating network segments).

• Enhance firewall configurations to minimize false positives and boost detection accuracy.

• Integrate firewalls with SIEM, EDR, and XDR systems for centralized visibility.

• Perform firewall policy audits and enforce least-privilege access throughout client networks.

• Assist in incident response efforts, encompassing containment and remediation measures.

• Manage VPN configurations (site-to-site, client VPN, zero trust network access).

• Offer guidance and recommendations to clients for enhancing their network security posture.

• Document configurations, modifications, and response actions for compliance and reporting purposes.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in network security or firewall engineering, ideally in an MSSP/MDR setting.

• Practical experience with enterprise firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point).

• Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, DNS, segmentation).

• Intermediate expertise in static routing and dynamic routing employing dynamic routing protocols, such as OSPF, BGP, etc.

• Intermediate experience in troubleshooting end-to-end network connectivity.

• Familiarity with security operations workflows and incident response protocols.

• Knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, etc.).

• Experience with VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network traffic analysis.
