Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement strategies for integrating security services within CI/CD pipelines.

• Conduct security assessments for intricate systems across various Cisco business units.

• Work closely with engineers and leadership to prioritize and address vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with software engineers from different product teams to enhance the security posture of cloud technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a software engineer.

• Proficient in reading and writing code in Ruby or Python.

• Background in penetration testing and vulnerability research.

• Skilled in identifying and assisting in the resolution of security issues, including authentication, authorization, and cryptography.

• Proven experience in leading cross-functional initiatives.

• A BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Security Engineering, or a related STEM field.

• Familiarity with source-level debuggers, hardware/JTAG debuggers, network protocol analyzers, or logic analyzers for diagnosing issues across all system layers.
