This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Assist the SCRA Lead in implementing Twilio's worldwide security regulatory strategy
• Independently analyze complex and unclear regulatory frameworks to produce structured outputs
• Aid in the creation and upkeep of regulatory repositories and record systems, ensuring precision and readiness for audits
• Execute and enhance the Cyber Regulation Intake & Triage process in collaboration with the Legal team
• Align regulatory requirements with internal control frameworks, pinpointing any gaps
• Generate high-quality, regulator-ready documentation, including evidence mappings and control narratives
• Detect, assess, and escalate regulatory risks and audit responsibilities
• Collaborate across various functions including Legal, Public Policy, R&D, Security, Product, Sales, and Risk teams
• Over 5 years of experience in security compliance, telecom compliance, regulatory affairs, GRC, or a related area within a global technology, cloud, or telecom context
• Proven experience in interpreting and operationalizing security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIS 2, ISO 27001, SOC 2, telecom regulatory frameworks)
• Demonstrated ability to map regulatory requirements to control frameworks, policies, and technical implementations
• Comprehensive understanding of security architecture, networking, access control, software development, cryptography, and operations
• Proficient in analyzing ambiguous regulations and regulatory requirements
