Security Architect II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the security and delivery processes by managing technical lifecycles, which include initial setup, troubleshooting, testing, and production deployment.

• Crafting the comprehensive lifecycle of customer configurations, integrating CDN, WAF, API Security, Bot Management, and additional solutions for optimal delivery.

• Evaluating traffic and system architecture while tailoring security solutions to tackle and resolve security challenges.

• Documenting and managing technical issues, stakeholder responses, and requests to ensure that information remains consistently recorded and up-to-date across all projects.

• Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to define scope, set timelines, create technical solutions, and support ongoing implementations.

• Utilizing automation through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Akamai CLI) and scripting (Python, Powershell) to enhance configurations and deployments whenever possible.

• Employing a comprehensive technical toolkit, including Web Developer Tools, Postman, cURL, and Burp Suite, to validate, optimize, and troubleshoot workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess over 6 years of experience in security technologies, processes, concepts, along with formal education in computer science or engineering.

• Showcase expertise in internet fundamentals, DNS, routing, HTTP, TCP, TLS certificate lifecycle, application security, and APIs.

• Capable of analyzing web traffic and architectures while customizing Akamai security solutions to address customer security concerns.

• Hold expertise in OWASP, network security products, application firewalls, and both server-side and client-side application architecture.

• Exhibit an automation-first mindset, employing Terraform, Akamai CLI, and scripting, while maintaining a forward-thinking approach towards AI, continuously learning and adapting to AI-driven trends.

• Focus on delivering significant results while effectively communicating complex technical information through outstanding communication and presentation skills.
