Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Security Research & Architecture, Solution Design & Validation

• Identify gaps in emerging technologies, particularly in AI, agent-based platforms, and related Microsoft capabilities, where ProArch can innovate new security offerings or enhance existing services.

• Investigate new platforms and capabilities to pinpoint client challenges, assess risks or governance shortcomings, and identify use cases with genuine market potential.

• Evaluate client business needs, security goals, and technical limitations to design secure target-state architectures across Microsoft cloud, identity, data, and AI-related platforms.

• Establish architectural patterns, trust boundaries, control points, and integration strategies that align security, governance, and operational requirements.

• Generate architecture diagrams, reference designs, decision frameworks, and solution blueprints suitable for both pre-sales and delivery contexts.

• Validate the proposed architectures through practical testing, design reviews, proof-of-concept initiatives, and early implementation support to verify feasibility and risk posture.

• Define secure configuration baselines, governance frameworks, identity models, and monitoring expectations for proposed solutions prior to widespread adoption.

• Assess architectural choices regarding identity, access, data protection, compliance, resilience, and operational risk, translating findings into clear technical recommendations.

• Develop reusable standards, hardening patterns, reference architectures, and implementation guidelines that assist delivery teams in executing consistently.

• Continuously enhance architectural standards and recommended patterns based on feedback from delivery, technical validation, and evolving platform capabilities.

• Assist in pre-sales activities by leading or contributing to discovery sessions, architecture workshops, solution framing, proposal input, and technical risk discussions.

• Provide architectural advisory support to clients and internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are secure, practical, and aligned with business objectives.

• Support early delivery initiatives by aiding in architecture reviews, control design, implementation decisions, and secure adoption planning for new or evolving services.

• Create client-ready architecture artifacts, design rationales, standards documentation, and internal guidance that can be reused across sales and delivery processes.

• Present architectural recommendations and security considerations to leadership, client stakeholders, and delivery teams, incorporating lessons learned back into solution enhancements.

• This role requires a self-reliant senior individual contributor capable of evaluating client needs, designing secure solution architectures, establishing practical guardrails, supporting client-facing technical discussions, and translating sound architectural decisions into repeatable delivery models.

• Independent, self-motivated, and proficient at managing multiple priorities while producing high-quality, evidence-based architectural output.

• Strong written, verbal, technical, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate architectural decisions and security trade-offs to both technical and executive audiences.

• Proficient in assessing current-state environments, identifying control gaps, and designing practical target-state security architectures.

• Comfortable engaging in client-facing discussions, technical solution development, proposal support, architecture reviews, and the early delivery of new services.

• Capable of creating reusable standards, templates, patterns, and delivery guidance that facilitate the scaling of successful offerings across teams.

• Excellent analytical abilities, strong proficiency in English, and the capacity to adapt swiftly as platform capabilities, threats, and client priorities evolve.
