This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Oversee, assess, and investigate security alerts, events, reports, and potential incidents.
• Aid in the initial analysis, evidence collection, containment coordination, documentation, and follow-up after incidents.
• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of incident response procedures, playbooks, templates, checklists, and associated documentation.
• Examine vulnerability scan results and security reports, validate findings, evaluate potential impacts, and assist in prioritizing remediation efforts.
• Monitor vulnerabilities and remediation tasks across teams, ensuring that issues are thoroughly documented and resolved.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, project teams, and other partners to convey findings, risks, and recommended remediation actions clearly and effectively.
• Assist in identifying factors contributing to incidents or recurring vulnerabilities and recommend practical enhancements.
• Early-to-mid career experience in security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, IT security, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in investigating security alerts, events, vulnerability reports, or security concerns, with a focus on clear documentation of findings.
• Understanding of vulnerability management processes, including reviewing findings, assessing impacts, prioritizing remediation, and tracking issues to resolution.
• Familiarity with essential security concepts such as incident response, vulnerability management, identity and access management, endpoint security, cloud security, network security, and secure configuration.
• Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, ticketing systems, or similar technologies.
• Excellent documentation skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to create clear incident notes, reports, and process documentation.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Capacity to work autonomously in a fully remote setting while effectively collaborating with distributed teams.
