Security Analyst – 6-month contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee logs, alerts, and telemetry to identify unusual behavior and potential risks across infrastructure, applications, and cloud settings.

• Conduct thorough security analyses and investigations to evaluate risk, ascertain impact, and pinpoint root causes of security incidents.

• Coordinate and implement incident response initiatives, including containment, mitigation, recovery, and post-incident evaluations.

• Lead and manage the vulnerability management program by identifying, prioritizing, and tracking the remediation of security vulnerabilities across systems and teams.

• Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of investigations, incidents, procedures, and findings to enhance transparency and operational excellence.

• Enhance company-wide security awareness by creating and delivering training, guidance, and best practices to stakeholders throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity.

• Strong grasp of contemporary threat landscapes and defensive tactics.

• Practical experience with IT security tools and services (SIEM, EDR, CSPM, Firewalls, and Vulnerability Management tools).

• Relevant technical certifications in the aforementioned areas.

• Experience in the cryptocurrency or financial services sector is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with offensive security practices (penetration testing, red teaming, or adversary simulation) is an advantage.

• Proven autonomy and accountability, with a demonstrated ability to resolve problems and navigate intricate technical challenges independently.
