SDET Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to maintain product quality throughout the entire lifecycle, from conception to delivery.

• Comprehend requirements, establish testing strategies, design, and implement tests for web, API, and backend functionalities of software applications.

• Perform regression testing and engage in release cycles to ensure software stability.

• Identify, document, and monitor bugs utilizing tools such as JIRA and DevOps.

• Assist in the establishment of automated test scripts (Python, shell, etc.).

• Work closely with the Engineering team to swiftly address user feedback.

• Employ JMeter and Pytest as primary testing tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Have 5 - 8 years of experience in QA, with familiarity in JIRA.

• Capable of writing test scripts and performing functional testing for automated QA processes.

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.

• Understand engineering best practices and agile development methodologies.

• Communicate and collaborate effectively across teams to achieve common objectives.

• Proficient in at least one programming language: C, C++, Java, Go, or Python.
