SAP OTC Functional Expert – S/4 Digital Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze and refine both country-specific and global business requirements.

• Conduct technical Fit/Gap assessments and propose suitable solutions.

• Develop both standard and custom SAP solutions within the Order-to-Cash (OTC) domain.

• Provide effort estimations and assist in delivering solutions.

• Create and evaluate Functional Specifications for core developments.

• Prepare and assess OQ/PQ testing scripts and specifications.

• Facilitate testing and system screening in collaboration with deployment teams.

• Serve as the OTC functional contact for Customer Master Data.

• Coordinate project teams and manage deliverables.

• Assist in cutover planning, data migration, and deployment tasks.

• Ensure a seamless transition into operational support.

• Offer hypercare support after go-live.

• Contribute to deliverables throughout project phases and release milestones.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience as an SAP OTC Functional Consultant.

• Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, especially within large-scale transformation programs.

• Strong grasp of Order-to-Cash business processes.

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions.

• Demonstrated experience with Fit/Gap analysis and solution design.

• Experience in producing Functional Specifications and collaborating with development teams.

• Strong background in SAP testing, including OQ/PQ or equivalent regulated testing processes.

• Experience in supporting data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.

• Proven track record of providing hypercare and facilitating the transition to Business As Usual (BAU) support.

• Strong stakeholder management skills across business, IT, master data, and deployment teams.

• Capability to work independently while coordinating multiple teams and deliverables.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to function effectively in a CET-based international project environment.

• Experience in global or country template environments is highly advantageous.

• Background in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical environments is preferred.

• Familiarity with GxP-regulated environments is desirable.

• Understanding of Customer Master Data processes and commercial requirements is a plus.

• Experience with large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation and rollout programs is beneficial.

• Prior involvement across multiple release cycles and global deployments is advantageous.
