SAP MDG Business Partner Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate sessions for gathering requirements and conducting business process workshops focused on Business Partner master data governance.

• Document business rules, outline functional requirements, and create Business Partner master data models.

• Set up the SAP MDG Business Partner framework, encompassing data modeling, UI FPM modeling, and process modeling.

• Establish change request workflows, validation rules, and derivation rules utilizing SAP BRF+.

• Aid in the governance of Business Partner master data, covering customer and vendor lifecycle management.

• Configure the Data Replication Framework and facilitate data synchronization through SOA Services, Web Services, and IDocs.

• Collaborate with teams from Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and technical sectors within integrated SAP environments.

• Create functional design, configuration, and business process documentation.

• Conduct unit and integration testing while supporting User Acceptance Testing.

• Resolve production issues and assist with ongoing system enhancements.

• Engage in process mapping and change management activities.

• Travel infrequently to client locations for on-site assistance.

• Partake in quality assurance initiatives and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with security policies.

• Undertake additional related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of pertinent experience in SAP Business Partner or SAP Master Data Governance; 5–7 years of experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

• Proficient in configuring SAP MDG Business Partner, including data modeling, workflow configuration, UI FPM modeling, BRF+, and DRF.

• Strong understanding of SAP Business Partner master data, particularly Customer and Vendor master data within SAP S/4HANA.

• Proven experience in gathering business requirements, leading workshops, developing functional design documentation, and supporting solution delivery.

• Experience in supporting multi-system SAP landscapes and enterprise master data governance projects.

• Ability to make judgments within established practices and manage moderately complex SAP MDG Business Partner issues with minimal supervision.

• Must be eligible to obtain and retain an active Secret security clearance.

• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance purposes.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, federal ERP modernization initiatives, or DoD SAP environments is a plus.

• Familiarity with SAP MM, Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain integrations is advantageous.
