SAP Master Data Governance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Enhance Data Models by adding entities, attributes, custom tables, access classes, and validations.

• Familiarity with SAP BTP MDG-C/S (Cloud) is beneficial.

• Align business process needs with technical MDG components.

• Collaborate with business teams to establish governance models, approval workflows, and data maintenance policies.

• Configure and activate MDG modules and components in various environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) with a strong focus on MDG S/4HANA versions 2019/2020/2023 or the latest releases.

• Significant experience with ECC and/or S/4 HANA, having participated in at least 2 MDG implementation projects as well as support projects.

• Proficient in implementing SAP MDG solutions for master data such as Customer, Vendor, Material, etc., coupled with SAP ABAP skills.

• Skilled in Data Model Enhancement, Data Transfer (DIF/DEF), Data Replication Framework (DRF), and Business Rules Framework plus (BRFplus).

• Experienced in configuring rule-based workflows and integrating business process requirements with SAP Master Data Governance's technical implementation.

• Knowledgeable in User Interface modeling, including designing and creating UIs, value restrictions, defining navigation elements like hyperlinks or push buttons, as well as data quality, validation, and derivation rules.

• Experienced in Process Modeling, including entity changes, business activities, request types, workflows, edition types, relationships, data replication techniques, SOA services, ALE connections, key & value mapping, data transfer, and master data conversion.

• Expert in the activation and configuration of MDG modules and components.

• Required knowledge of SAP ERP logistics (SAP modules SD or MM), particularly in master data.

• Familiar with SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC) and data loading tools.

• Experience with Consolidation and Mass Processing (MDG-M, MDG-C).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Experience in Agile or Hybrid project environments.

• Capable of creating functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials.
