SAP IS-U Billing Functional Consultant II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for enhancements and projects related to SAP IS-U Billing.

• Configure, maintain, and provide support for SAP IS-U Billing.

• Set up and support rate configurations, billing schemas, bill corrections, budget billing, invoicing, and bill print forms.

• Engage in the complete enhancement lifecycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, testing, training, deployment, and post-production support.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production that affect billing operations.

• Create functional specifications and work in collaboration with technical teams to deliver effective solutions.

• Maintain functional documentation, process flows, and user manuals.

• Support initiatives related to data integrity, reporting, and compliance.

• Conduct root cause analysis and suggest long-term improvements.

• Execute and assist in testing for releases, upgrades, and production deployments.

• Collaborate with teams involved in SAP FI-CA, Device Management, and Customer Service.

• Address service requests, resolve defects, and implement minor system enhancements.

• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational support procedures.

• Participate in an on-call support rotation as necessary.

• Keep abreast of best practices, product updates, and emerging technologies in SAP Utilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of functional experience with SAP IS-U Billing.

• Practical experience in configuring SAP IS-U Billing.

• Strong understanding of rate configuration, bill print processes, and billing exception analysis.

• Familiarity with utility meter-to-cash business processes.

• Experience in supporting production environments and troubleshooting billing-related issues.

• Proficient in gathering business requirements and creating functional documentation.

• Ability to assess impacts across Billing, FI-CA, Customer Service, and related SAP IS-U modules.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Preferred: experience with SAP FI-CA.

• Preferred: familiarity with SAP Device Management.

• Preferred: experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities.

• Preferred: background in an Application Management Services (AMS) or Managed Services environment.

• Preferred: experience using Jira.

• Preferred: previous experience in the utilities industry.
