SAP FS-CD Billing Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and implement SAP FS-CD solutions to enhance enterprise billing, collections, and accounts receivable operations.

• Lead the design and configuration of essential FS-CD functionalities such as: Contract Accounts Business Partners, Insurance Objects, Payment Processing, Clearing and Allocation Rules, Dunning and Collections, Account Determination, Refunds and Write-Offs, and Billing and Invoicing Processes.

• Collaborate with both business and technical teams to define comprehensive solutions that support policy administration, billing, payments, and financial reporting.

• Assist in the integration design between SAP FS-CD and other upstream/downstream applications utilizing APIs and event-driven architectures.

• Engage in requirements gathering, solution workshops, fit-gap analyses, design reviews, and testing processes.

• Create functional specifications and assist technical teams with development, integration, and troubleshooting tasks.

• Collaborate with architecture and platform teams to ensure that solutions meet enterprise integration, security, and performance standards.

• Support Agile delivery teams by participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, solution reviews, and production readiness activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP FS-CD, possessing a solid techno-functional background.

• Demonstrated experience in implementing or supporting SAP FS-CD within Insurance, Financial Services, Utilities, Telecommunications, or other high-volume billing sectors.

• Strong knowledge of: Accounts Receivable (A/R), Billing and Invoicing, Payment Processing, Collections and Dunning, Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA), and Financial Posting and Clearing Processes.

• Experience with configuring SAP FS-CD master data and transaction processing components.

• Familiarity with SAP integration patterns and API-based architectures.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to engage directly with business stakeholders.
