• Act as the primary SAP ERP Super User for Finance, possessing extensive functional knowledge in areas such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management, cost accounting by cost center, profit center accounting, internal orders, product costing, profitability analysis (CO-PA), customer order management (Order-to-Cash), billing and revenue recognition, and overseeing the planning and execution throughout the entire procurement-to-production process from raw materials to finished products.
• Cultivate and sustain a comprehensive understanding of the interfaces among these financial and operational processes and other company systems, particularly in purchasing, production, and human resources.
• Offer expert guidance to finance and operational teams regarding SAP functionality, best practices, incident resolution, and optimization of tool usage.
• Continuously monitor existing SAP features and stay informed about upcoming developments (especially SAP S/4HANA) to enhance the value provided to the organization.
• Advocate for data integrity, quality, and reliability within SAP by establishing and enforcing governance standards for master data and financial transactions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8 to 10+ years of experience, demonstrating advancement in finance and information technology roles, with a strong focus on SAP ERP systems.
• Established functional expertise in SAP related to financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets accounting, bank accounting, cost accounting by cost center, profit center accounting, internal orders, product costing, and profitability analysis (CO-PA), as well as Purchasing (MM) and industrial production.
• Solid functional knowledge of SAP concerning customer order management processes, billing, and revenue recognition, specifically the financial aspects of the Order-to-Cash cycle.
• A good understanding of SAP for industrial project planning and production flows, including budgeting, execution, and costing (Project Systems).
• Relevant finance experience in project accounting, balance sheet, or treasury functions within an industrial or manufacturing context.
• Proven experience collaborating at the intersection of finance, operations, and ERP systems.
