SAP Developer II – Supplier Portal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Works in collaboration with the functional team to grasp the development requirements.

• Engages with SAP Functional Consultants and client team members to propose a technical strategy for the requirement.

• Creates programming specifications, diagrams, and coding flowcharts for modifications and installations of enterprise applications.

• Designs a high-quality technical solution for the requirement in accordance with development standards; conducts unit tests and documents the test outcomes.

• Identifies and resolves defects discovered during unit testing, integration testing, or user acceptance testing.

• Develops and keeps technical documentation updated, including specifications, configuration notes, and test scripts, for enhancements to the Supplier Portal.

• Assists with data migration, interface, and integration tasks associated with the Supplier Portal environment.

• Engages in peer code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.

• Offers post-deployment support, which includes monitoring and addressing issues after the production release.

• May require occasional travel (approximately 10%) to client locations for on-site support.

• Follows all certified processes as part of our commitment to uphold the highest standards of quality and information security, which involves actively participating in quality assurance activities and safeguarding sensitive information in line with our security protocols.

• Undertakes other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of SAP development experience (experience with S/4HANA implementation is preferred); or equivalent experience without a degree.

• Proficient in using development tools available for S/4HANA.

• Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture, SAP's “Clean Core” methodology, and the Extensibility concept.

• Familiarity with new ABAP features and concepts related to RESTful application programming (REST API).

• Must possess an active government clearance or be eligible to obtain one prior to the hiring date (requires U.S. citizenship).
