This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Offer expert functional consulting for SAP EDM and SAP S/4HANA Utilities.

• Create target processes, requirements, system solutions, and target architecture for Energy Data Management.

• Facilitate workshops that address meter point operations, grid operations, market communication, billing, and, when relevant, sales.

• Design and assist in the implementation of meter data management and time-series processing.

• Establish rules for plausibility checks, validation, correction, and replacement-value determination.

• Design load profile management, profile assignment, aggregation, and balancing support.

• Ensure seamless integration with meter point operations, market communication, billing, and downstream systems.

• Execute or coordinate SAP EDM customization tasks.

• Develop functional specifications for enhancements, reports, automation, and interfaces.

• Plan and execute functional tests, analyze defects, and manage retesting processes.

• Organize, facilitate, and follow up on Fit-to-Standard workshops in accordance with SAP Activate.

• Provide functional assistance during build phases, integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, and hypercare periods.

• Compile project documentation and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive senior-level knowledge in SAP S/4HANA Utilities, especially SAP Energy Data Management (EDM).

• Profound understanding of energy-industry meter data processes for electricity and, ideally, gas.

• Hands-on experience with time series, load profiles, interval values, meter readings, meter data quality, plausibility checks, and replacement-value determination.

• Proficient in processing and supplying meter data for billing, network usage, feed-in, balancing, and market communication.

• Strong grasp of the processes and data flows associated with meter point operators and distribution system operators.

• Familiarity with relevant German market roles and market processes.

• Experience in designing functional-level interfaces for meter data acquisition, head-end, MDM, billing, and reporting systems.

• Background in SAP customization within the EDM environment and in specifying enhancements, reports, and customer-specific validation rules.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops and applying the SAP Activate methodology.

• Exceptional facilitation, communication, and documentation abilities when collaborating across business and technical domains.
