This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Providing functional SAP consulting for device logistics and IM4G.

• Developing target business processes, requirements, and system solutions related to devices, device movements, warehouse operations, and inventory management.

• Conducting structured workshops to gather requirements and translating them into functional concepts and backlog items.

• Designing comprehensive processes for managing device and material inventory.

• Offering functional support for processes involving installation, removal, replacement, deinstallation, reinstallation, and relocation.

• Collaborating functionally with metering point operations and market communication.

• Designing integration solutions with SAP MM and warehouse operations.

• Executing or coordinating configuration activities functionally.

• Drafting functional specifications for enhancements, reports, forms, interfaces, and customer-specific validations.

• Preparing and conducting various testing phases, including unit, integration, end-to-end, and acceptance tests, with a focus on defect tracking.

• Organizing, facilitating, and following up on Fit-to-Standard workshops according to the SAP Activate framework.

• Providing functional support throughout the build, test, cutover, and hypercare phases.

• Creating project documentation and executing knowledge transfer sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive senior-level experience in SAP S/4HANA Utilities, particularly in device logistics, device management, and IM4G.

• Profound knowledge of metering point operator processes and the technical and commercial interdependencies of smart metering.

• Practical experience with device movements, replacements, installation and removal processes, device histories, and management of serial numbers and inventory.

• Comprehensive understanding of the integration between SAP Utilities and SAP S/4HANA Materials Management, particularly regarding material master data, storage locations, goods movements, and inventory management.

• Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end processes for electricity and gas networks and/or metering point operations.

• Experience in preparing functional specifications for interfaces, enhancements, reports, and customer-specific validations.

• Demonstrated experience with Fit-to-Standard workshops and the SAP Activate methodology.

• Strong capability to facilitate workshops and mediate between business departments, architecture, development, and testing teams.

• Experience in the build, integration, acceptance, cutover, and hypercare phases of SAP Utilities transformation projects.

• Proficiency in German at a business-fluent or working level is required.
