SAP Basis Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume technical responsibility for and actively engage in the migration of our SAP systems to the cloud utilizing SAP RISE.

• Oversee the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA, EWM, Solution Manager, and SAP BusinessObjects.

• Plan and execute patch and upgrade management, including system updates and service pack installations.

• Conduct performance analyses, pinpoint bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance an SAP monitoring system (including job and IDoc monitoring, automations, and queues).

• Administer SAP authorization roles in accordance with company policies.

• Provide support for system and client copies, migrations, and backup and recovery processes.

• Offer technical support for other SAP projects while closely collaborating with business departments.

• Document systems, processes, and technical procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed IT qualification (e.g., IT specialist) or an equivalent credential.

• Several years of experience in SAP Basis administration is preferred.

• Familiarity with cloud migrations, SAP RISE, monitoring tools, and performance optimization.

• Understanding of authorization management; experience with XITING is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, team orientation, and exceptional communication skills.

• Structured and reliable work style, along with a willingness to learn new technologies.

• Proficient in the German language, both written and spoken; English language skills are an advantage.
