• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to ensure that scope and requirements are accurately defined and translated into technical designs.
• Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions with an emphasis on maintainability, performance, and security.
• Create and maintain: Apex (classes, triggers, asynchronous patterns such as Queueable/Future/Batch, integrations, error handling).
• Lightning Web Components (LWC) (component architecture, client/server patterns, performance best practices).
• Utilize Platform Events and event-driven patterns (publish/subscribe, orchestration, resiliency, monitoring).
• Collaborate with QA, Product Owners, and Designers to deliver thoroughly tested, user-friendly experiences (including Experience Cloud journeys).
• Implement comprehensive automated testing and quality practices: Apex unit tests and test data patterns.
• Ensure meaningful coverage that validates business behavior, not merely line counts.
• Engage in Scrum ceremonies, estimation, and iterative delivery; actively participate in regular code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across production and sandbox environments; conduct root-cause analysis and apply preventative measures.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards as necessary to enhance operational visibility and outcomes.
• Advocate for best practices, coding standards, documentation, and reusable patterns across the team.
• Proactively share knowledge within the team; mentor others on platform development patterns and uphold a high standard of engineering excellence.
• Must be data-driven, objective, and goal-oriented.
• 3+ years of experience in a developer role on the Salesforce Platform.
• Strong practical experience with Apex (classes, triggers, governor limits, asynchronous processing, integrations).
• Significant hands-on experience with LWC (component patterns, Apex integration, state management fundamentals, performance considerations).
• Experience in implementing event-driven solutions using Platform Events (and/or similar pub/sub patterns on Salesforce).
• Familiarity with working in an Agile environment adhering to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficient in using GitHub as a version control system and participating in code reviews.
• Must adhere to HIPAA rules and regulations.
• Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stacks; communicates clearly and effectively.
