• Create tailored Salesforce applications, components, and integrations utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and API services.
• Work closely with consultants and stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver compliant, high-quality solutions.
• Assist in gathering feedback by transforming them into user stories and tasks in the product backlog, and help prioritize them for future sprint cycles.
• Aid in breaking down complex capabilities into testable user stories and tasks, collaborating closely with development teams.
• Prepare for, participate in, and engage during sprint review/integration solution design demo sessions, presenting and addressing technical inquiries as required.
• Proactively identify potential risks and contribute to the development of strategies for their mitigation and implementation.
• Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce best practices as well as federal security and compliance standards.
• Take part in code reviews, testing, debugging, and release management activities.
• Evaluate vulnerability scan results and address issues as instructed by government guidelines.
• Oversee deployment activities and deliverables from the development environment to other necessary government environments.
• Maintain documentation, technical designs, and deployment procedures.
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.
• Support all agile ceremonies upon request, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, technical spikes, sprint reviews, and demos.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience in Salesforce or relevant software development, OR an Associate’s degree plus 5 years of experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED plus 7 years of relevant experience.
• Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Administrator, Platform App Builder) are preferred.
• Experience in supporting federal government agencies or working within a consulting environment.
• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, or Git-based workflows).
• Understanding of Salesforce security, compliance, and FedRAMP requirements.
• Strong critical thinking abilities and capacity to work within collaborative, cross-functional teams.
