This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement data migration strategies that encompass essential Salesforce entities including accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, activities, cases, and custom objects.
• Create scalable frameworks for data migration, accommodating phased, delta, and full-load methodologies across various Salesforce environments.
• Align legacy data models with Salesforce architecture while considering business rules, relationships, and multi-org/multi-currency settings.
• Establish canonical data models and develop field-level mappings and transformation logic from source systems to Salesforce.
• Partner with MDM teams to define golden record standards and execute identity resolution strategies across systems.
• Implement governance controls, data stewardship policies, and compliance measures (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) to ensure reliable and compliant data usage.
• Maintain data lineage and integrity throughout the CRM ecosystem by collaborating closely with enterprise architects and data owners.
• Conduct thorough data profiling to identify duplicates, incomplete records, and inconsistencies within datasets.
• Lead deduplication initiatives using tools like Informatica Cloud Data Quality, DemandTools, or custom scripts.
• Create rules and processes for data cleansing, normalization, and enrichment to guarantee the completeness and accuracy of migrated and integrated data.
• Set data quality KPIs and consistently monitor and report on data integrity across the Salesforce platform.
• Develop and implement ETL processes utilizing tools such as Informatica (Cloud and MDM), DBAmp, Pentaho, Dataloader, or SQL-based frameworks.
• Manage iterative data loads into Salesforce sandboxes and production environments, validating against source system records and business rules.
• Provide comprehensive documentation, test plans, and support materials to facilitate stakeholder adoption and ensure long-term maintenance.
• Lead workshops with business stakeholders to clarify data requirements, risks, and success metrics.
• Collaborate closely with Salesforce Solution Architects, Admins, Developers, RevOps, and QA teams to ensure data aligns with end-to-end business processes.
• Standardize data practices by contributing to internal playbooks, templates, accelerators, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Over 5 years of experience in data architecture and CRM data migrations, particularly with Salesforce platforms.
• Profound understanding of Salesforce data models across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications.
• Proficiency with tools such as Informatica Cloud, Informatica MDM, DBAmp, Dataloader, or other ETL/data integration tools.
• Strong SQL capabilities for data analysis, cleansing, and transformation (including joins, window functions, and data profiling).
• Proven track record in deduplication, data cleansing, and enhancing data quality at scale.
• Demonstrated expertise in MDM frameworks, data stewardship, and governance best practices.
